Join Our Elite Team as a Cybersecurity Engineer (IASE/ISSE)

**Location:** Suitland, MD (National Maritime Intelligence Center)

**Security Clearance:** Active DoD Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance

**Leidos** is seeking a dynamic Cybersecurity Engineer to work onsite at the National Maritime Intelligence Center. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on national security while advancing your career.

Responsibilities:

+ Capture and integrate security requirements into IT systems.

+ Conduct vulnerability assessments, ethical hacking, and penetration testing.

+ Analyze IT systems for threats and provide remediation recommendations.

+ Develop and deliver training on cyber tools and processes.

+ Research and evaluate Cybersecurity tools and methodologies

BasicQualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ or 12+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ or 10+ years of experience. Additional experience, certifications or trainings may be considered in lieu of degree.

+ Active DoD Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance.

+ Active IAT or IAM Level III DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (e.g. CISSP-ISSEP or CASP certification).

+ Experience with DIACAP/DoD RMF, DCID 6/3, ICD-503, NIST 800-53, and/or RMF.

+ Proficiency in hardening modern operating systems and implementing security engineering best practices.

+ Some scripting experience is a plus.

+ Up to 10% travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Software development experience in Java, C, C++, or other programming languages.

+ Systems Engineering and Network Administration.

+ Project Management experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
