We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Cat Technology Division as a **Senior Engineering Project Team Leader (Lifecycle Manager)** **in Mossville, IL**

Job Summary** **:
+ The **Senior Engineering Project Team Leader (Lifecycle Manager)** manages multiple or complex engineering projects related to the identification, strategic and tactical planning, and implementation of electronic component transitions across the Caterpillar machine product line to address obsolescence and/or assurance of supply risk. These efforts are large and complex, often involving alignment with numerous machine NPI efforts and in some critical situations, involve urgent collaboration with machine product engineering teams to drive unplanned changes to sustain the availability of parts for production and service.

+ This role is 1st shift
+ This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
+ This role requires up to 10% travel, potentially international
What You Will Do:
+ Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
+ Coordinating resources across sales and marketing, product development groups, value chain and manufacturing.
+ Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
+ Directing project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.
What You Have (Required Skills):
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
+ **Products and Services** : Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
+ **Influencing Through Expertise** : Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to use these to deepen own expertise and impact or challenge decisions within and outside own organization.
+ **Project Management** : Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
+ Data analysis skills: Power BI or other related systems
+ Effective communication skills both written and verbal
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
+ Experience with data management and analytics tools.
+ Knowledge of Caterpillar's machine product lines, purchasing systems, and engineering print systems are helpful in modelling component usage and establishing strategies for critical transition planning.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
