We are excited to announce that the Nashville Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is currently seeking a full-time Sous Chef/Dietary Supervisor Assistant to join our ever-growing team!
Position Details:
- **Reports to:** Director of Dietary Services
- **Hours:** Varies based upon needs of the kitchen
- **Status:** Full Time
Pay Details:
Based on experience
Working Conditions:
- Works in food and nutrition service areas
- Moves intermittently during working hours
- Subject to frequent interruptions
- Involvement with residents, personnel, visitors, and government agencies under various conditions
- Must handle interactions with emotionally upset residents and family members
- Communicates effectively with medical/nursing staff & other department supervisors
- Supervises kitchen staff to ensure compliance with regulations, schedules, and meal times
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- CDM certification preferred but not required
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role
- Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred but not required
