    Role Synopsis

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Facilities Engineer – Chemical Treatment & Integrity Management Programs to support the Eagle Ford asset within our Facilities Engineering Team. This role will lead field-wide chemical and integrity management programs to improve equipment reliability and ensure safe, cost-effective operations across both legacy and newly acquired wells. Success requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and effective management of vendors, budgets, and program execution. This role will work closely with field operations, maintenance, and central engineering to deliver integrated, sustainable improvements in reliability, safety, and operational performance.

    Key Accountabilities

+ **Chemical Program Management:** Manage and optimize field-wide chemical treatment and flow assurance programs (H₂S scavenging, biocide, paraffin, methanol, corrosion inhibitor), ensuring compliance, cost control, and optimization through data analysis, performance tracking, and vendor engagement.

+ **Mechanical Integrity & Inspection:** Manage and optimize mechanical integrity programs, including vessel and piping inspections, PAUT/DRT, and data management. Ensure compliance, develop inspection plans, and mitigate asset risks using failure and degradation data.

+ **Technical Problem Solving:** Analyze integrity and chemical performance data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend actionable, risk-based solutions. Leverage engineering judgment to improve program effectiveness and reduce costs.

+ **Contractor & Budget Oversight:** Define contractor KPIs, lead recurring performance reviews, and ensure accountability for chemical treatment and NDE contractors. Track LOE, manage chemical/NDT budgets, implement cost-saving initiatives, and support tender evaluations.

+ **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Engage with midstream, development, and field operations and reliability teams to ensure alignment and integration of chemical, inspection, and reliability strategies. Support strategic initiatives and cross-BU learning through technical networks and COPs.

+ **Field Program Optimization:** Design and implement scalable systems for verifying treatment compliance, forecasting chemical demand, and prioritizing inspection scopes based on engineering and risk-based logic.

+ **Brownfield Project Execution & MOC Support:** Occasionally lead MOC development and closeout for brownfield facility modifications. Ensure timely execution of engineering deliverables, stakeholder reviews, procurement activities, and handoffs to construction.

    Essential Experience and Education

+ Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, chemical, or mechanical engineering.

+ Minimum 5-7 years of upstream oil & gas experience, with a focus on chemical treatment, integrity management, and/or brownfield facilities engineering.

    + Deep working knowledge of:

+ Chemical program management (H₂S scavenging, paraffin inhibition, hydrate control, CI treatment, etc.)

+ NDE and mechanical integrity program management (vessel inspections, DRT, PAUT)

+ Field trial design, execution, and performance measurement

+ Contractor performance management and KPI tracking

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and prioritize critical tasks in dynamic, fast-paced field environments to ensure safe and efficient execution.

+ Ability to analyze data sets, identify patterns and anomalies, and apply engineering principles to optimize programs.

+ Experienced with asset integrity frameworks, PFDs, P&IDs, MOC processes, and RCFA methodology.

+ Proficient in inspection scheduling, asset integrity planning, and policy compliance.

+ Familiar with Power BI, PI Vision, Excel-based tools, or other field data analysis platforms.
