This position is eligible for hybrid telework. Employees living within 50 miles of the primary work location will be required to work in the office at least 50% of the time each month. Employees may reside outside the state of Minnesota if they live in a state bordering Minnesota and are within 50 miles of the primary work location. This position serves as Alternative Dispute Resolution’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ADR’s business processes and the Data Management Analyst. This position is responsible for:
+ Identifying priorities and incorporates feedback from all stakeholders to guide day-to-day operations in the production and product environments of Work Comp Campus.
+ Critique and evaluation of existing Campus functionality and collaborate closely with others in roles within Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Business Technology Office (BTO), MNIT, and WCD staff to continually improve business processes.
+ Prioritization and management of new features that provide impact for all users while balancing between divergent needs of diverse stakeholders, and the product team backlog.
+ Providing ADR business process expertise and participate in the ongoing system improvements.
+ Conducting UAT and regression testing to ensure functionality is designed to meet the needs of the Department of Labor and Industry and its stakeholders.
+ Collaborating and being actively involved with the product team, Devops, and MNIT for purposes of reporting and business process development, documentation, and implementation.
+ Providing product demonstrations and analysis in support of proposed policy and standards for system use.
Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year of experience* involving a new system implementation where responsibilities include three of the areas below:
+ Data research, interpretation, analysis and reporting
+ Design and development of training curriculum and materials
+ End-user training and support
+ Development of test plans, documentation and approaches
+ Recommendation for system modifications or improvements
OR
Three (3) years of experience* providing administrative support that includes implementing methods to collect and analyze data; updating and editing training materials and providing technical support to system users.
*Master’s degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; Bachelor’s degree may substitute for one year of experience; Associates degree may substitute for six months of experience
+ Experience with functions of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Unit.
+ Experience with Minnesota Workers’ Compensation benefits.
+ Knowledge of Work Comp Campus.
+ Skill in using Microsoft Office Suite programs, Access, and other application software.
+ Writing skills to develop or revise technical content of policies, procedures, forms, training documentation, technical manuals, reports, memorandum, correspondence, or other documents.
+ Communication skills to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the public.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who may not share your same culture, ethnicity, language, or common experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
+ Language skills other than English (Somali, Spanish, Hmong, Karen or ASL).
