    The Talent & Culture Development Advisor serves to ensure the successful delivery and achievement of the PeaceHealth patient experience and caregiver investment goals as defined within the Talent and Culture Development Strategy which reinforce our commitment to ensure an exceptional place to give and receive compassionate, patient centered care and grow professionally. Strategic direction is provided by the division vice president and department manager. To continually advance the PeaceHealth Net Promoter Score and overall patient experience performance system-wide, position is responsible for design of best practice improvement strategies, based on a data driven, One PeaceHealth approach. Position receives, reviews and synthesizes qualitative and quantitative data as a critical function. Implementation of programs and tactics will require close collaboration with community leaders and teams. Position and team are responsible for the creation and delivery of caregiver learning and educational investment programs and offerings. This includes but not limited to the full facilitation of PeaceHealth Orientation, PeaceHealth Leadership in Healthcare, leadership development, annual education and other courses/classes as offered. Works closely with Human Resources colleagues and the technical team to ensure program offerings and course listing are accurate represented within the learning management system. Engages closely with Quality Analytics to ensure patient experience data and reporting accuracy, as well as experience survey administration as needed. Success in this position requires established and maintained positive and productive relationships with community leaders to ensure aligned strategy, prioritization, implementation, performance monitoring, and supportive resources. Position requires positive, mission focused and reliably collaborative engagement with colleagues, internal customers and caregivers as it is a highly visible role with wide and deep organizational impact while representing Human Resources.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Serves as a critical partner in the successful achievement of the Talent and Culture Development Strategy. Responsible for maintaining current industry knowledge regarding adult learning, patient and caregiver experience, insights and best practices.

    2. Creates, facilitates and delivers PeaceHealth Orientation for all new caregivers, physicians and clinicians joining PeaceHealth. This requires working closely with subject matter experts for consistent branding, engaging delivery and the creation of a Mission based warm welcome. Will require travel to communities outside of Shared Services.

    3. Develops program content and training curriculum. Delivers engaging, interactive and effective training to adult learner for a variety of caregiver and professional offerings in topics such as leadership, communication, change, conflict, team building, etc.

    4. Designs, creates and delivers PeaceHealth Leadership in Healthcare program – a substantial leadership investment program for all new leaders. Requires working closely with colleagues and subject matter experts.

    5. Plays a key role in ensuring the new leadership for PeaceHealth are equipped with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to lead their teams successfully, providing a safe culture and environment to excel in patient care

    6. Mentors subject matter experts, presenters and other learning professionals to improve knowledge and skills. Provides structured learning experiences for face-to-face, virtual, hybrid and blended classrooms or e-learning modules. Creates impactful, experiential learning experiences for effective knowledge transfer.

    7. Acquires, understands and leverages Patient Experience and Caregiver/Physician Engagement performance data, analytics and metrics to drive sound recommendations, decisions, and solutions.

    8. Actively supports implementation of best practice patient experience improvement efforts in communities and teams across the system. Serves as a positive Talent and Culture Development representative in this work, positively communicating, supporting and propelling One PeaceHealth.

    9. Collaborates with colleagues and subject matter experts in areas such as Human Resources, Mission, Quality, Analytics, Clinical Excellence and learning functions to ensure that services are exceptional, and policies are aligned with the organization's values and mission.

    10. Reliably engages at all levels of the organization, with a positive attitude and inspirational drive, is fundamental of this position. This role will be integral to supporting a safe and positive culture in the office, ambulatory and hospital setting, bringing knowledge and skills to help improve the experience of our caregivers and patients.

    11. Performs other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION

    + Bachelor's Degree required: Behavioral Health Sciences, Human Resources, Patient Relations, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, Business or related discipline required or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.

    + Master's Degree or advanced training preferred.

    EXPERIENCE

    + Minimum of 5 years required: Caregiver development, patient experience, organizational design, healthcare quality improvement, and/or risk management experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.

    + Required: Work related experience with demonstrated ability to drive results in patient experience or customer relations excellence and caregiver engagement.

    + Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting; preferably hospital, clinic, or health system related.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    + Demonstrated ability to be a positive and inspirational agent for change, while supporting the enhancement of One PeaceHealth, our PeaceHealth brand, people, and culture.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in Patient and Caregiver Experience.

    + Experience developing and leading programs and projects with demonstrated success outcomes.

    + Knowledgeable and able to apply contemporary best practices in adult learning tools, approaches, improvement models, employee engagement, and culture transformation.

    + Working knowledge of and experience with continuous process improvement methodologies and tools such as PDSA/PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.

    + Demonstrated ability of influencing senior leaders, delivering practical solutions, and driving implementation and change.

    + Subject matter expertise in organizational development methodologies including organizational and process design.

    + Knowledge of organizational and team dynamics and methods to support continued improvement in these areas.

    + Ability to develop and present concise information.

    + Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

    + Ability to work with teams positively, respectfully, and successfully in a variety of settings.

     

    The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is **$43.03 – $64.55** . The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, seniority, etc.
