**What’s a typical day as a** **Materials Coordinator** **?** You’ll be responsible for a variety of hand-on and administrative tasks associated with purchasing, parts tracking, inventory control, stocking, kitting, expediting and shipping/receiving operations. Daily responsibilities will include:

+ Parts tracking, reporting, and data entry into SAP

+ Purchasing goods and services; creating purchase orders

+ Coordinating with shops and vendors for stock availability and pricing, alternate part numbers, etc.

+ Inventory control

+ Backup support for Shipping department

Materials Coordinator** **Requirements:

+ HS Diploma or GED

+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. throughout your daily shift

+ Prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory

+ Basic computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software programs
