    We are seeking a passionate Selectable Drive Mode Engineer to lead product teams in developing new customer selectable Drive Modes and enhancing existing ones to satisfy the diverse experiential and task-based needs of our customers. The engineer will push the boundaries to create cost effective solutions that delight our customers and bring competitive advantage for our business.     + Develop new customer Selectable Drive Modes (SDM) and enhance existing ones to satisfy the diverse experiential and task-based needs of our customers

    + Translate customer preferences for drive experiences and ‘moments that matter’ into experience vision and strategy; develop high level use case scenarios and actionable themes and test these themes

    + Identify and actively manage trade-offs with affected vehicle attributes/systems. Interface with design, engineering, and business stakeholders to define and deliver vehicle segment specific engineering roadmaps.

    + Lead drill down to operational functional requirements for all affected systems such as engine, powertrain, body, chassis, IP cluster and electrical systems

    + Verify requirements are met at different development phases, conduct in-vehicle development and validation testing, lead issue triage, tracking and resolution, and input specific drive mode deliverables into program milestone tracking systems

    + Drive operational efficiencies and best engineering practices

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering

    + 5+ years of experience in Automotive Engineering focusing on delivering customer-driven solutions (internship/co-op/other experience allowed)

    + Must have and maintain a valid U.S. Driver’s License

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree preferred

    + Experience working in engine, transmission, driveline or chassis systems engineering

    + Passion for user experience, customer-centred design and product excellence

    + Ability to translate abstract concepts into actionable items for implementation

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Skills

    + Excellent teamwork, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

    + Ability to present findings and point of view effectively with management and other organizations

    + Comfortable working on changing demands and early vehicle program work

    + Self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal direction
