The Cardiology Director will oversee critical non-invasive diagnostic services—Echo, Nuclear, Stress Testing, and PET-CT—across a premier system that includes the highly-acclaimed Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center, Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis, and multiple outpatient locations. Having been ranked #1 in Indiana and #2 in the country for cardiac care by _Money's Best Hospitals for Cardiac Care_ in 2024, The Heart Center offers comprehensive cardiology service and has been consistently recognized as a "World's Best Specialty Hospital" by _Newsweek_ and Statista.

Responsibilities
Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for the assigned clinical program.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the objectives of the organization.
+ Direct all activities related to staffing including hiring, training, development and evaluation of staff.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
+ Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve and/or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines
Requirements
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences
+ Prior leadership experience preferred
+ Clinical experience preferred, but not required
+ Experience working directly with physicians
+ Self starter and self motivated
