    Overview

    **Appliance Rebuild Manager** _Monday – Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm_

     

    Join our team as a **Rebuild Manager** , where you’ll lead a skilled crew in refurbishing laundry and air equipment to top quality standards. This hands on role blends leadership, technical expertise, and organization as you plan rebuilds, mentor employees, and ensure every unit is ready for installation. If you enjoy problem-solving, coaching a team, and taking pride in seeing projects through from start to finish, this is the role for you!

    Team Leadership and Management

    + Oversee daily operations of the Rebuild Department, keeping projects on track and supporting employees.

    + Delegate work, set goals, and ensure deadlines are met.

    + Manage performance, coach team members, and support professional development.

    + Hire, discipline, and terminate employees as needed, following company policies.

    + Foster a safe, positive, and empowering work environment.

    Logistics and Organization

    + Load and unload trailers for shipping and receiving units.

    + Enter shipment information accurately into logistics systems.

    + Maintain an organized rebuild flow from receiving to completed projects.

    Planning and Coordination

    + Schedule rebuilds based on certified inventory needs.

    + Track plans, actual rebuild numbers, and employee hours in spreadsheets.

    + Stage laundry and air units for rebuilders to ensure smooth workflow.

    Quality Control

    + Monitor equipment quality and respond to internal feedback.

    + Use the Quality app to document checks and maintain standards.

    + Address issues proactively to prevent errors or delays.

    Hands-On Rebuilding

    + Diagnose machine issues and determine rebuild viability.

    + Assist rebuilders during high workloads or staffing gaps.

    + Identify and correct miss-kitted machines to keep projects on schedule.

    Parts Management

    + Reorder and manage parts, including vendor pickups and drop-offs.

    + Inspect parts to ensure quality before use or shipment.

    Training and Development

    + Support training programs for new and existing employees.

    + Train new hires on rebuild processes, systems, and quality standards.

    + Promote continuous learning and safety awareness.

    Metrics and Reporting

    + Review rebuild and production metrics to track team performance.

    + Assist with weekly reporting and identify areas for improvement.

    CSC Service Works will comply with local and state laws regarding minimum wages, including requirements specific to cities, counties, and municipalities.

    What we’re looking for

    + Valid Driver’s License

    + Ability to pass pre-employment screening

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.

    + Knowledge of third-party logistics systems and shipment tracking.

    + Ability to use spreadsheets to track rebuild schedules and progress.

    + Forklift certified, or willing to become certified.

    + Strong technical skills rebuilding CSC laundry and/or air units.

    + Ability to assess machine rebuild viability based on cost, demand, and condition.

    + Understanding of the Kitting app and troubleshooting capability.

    + Patience and skill in training employees on systems, rebuilds, and quality checks.

    + Ability to lift and move equipment or parts up to 100 pounds.
