_What You Will Do_

The Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Process Improvement Engineer (PIE) Intern will support the PIE team with process improvements and process walks that facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility.

_Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:_

+ Participate in teams reviewing and investigating process breakdowns

+ Review tech data changes to determine if work instructions need to change

+ Perform six-sigma and lean engineering analyses via process walks to improve product/process development and sustain production

+ Generate maintenance awareness briefs to reduce errors in the maintenance process

+ Utilize robust standard work and desktop procedures for HMC PIE processes

+ Perform any other related functions or support other MRO production lines as required by management to ensure the success of the enterprise

+ Support 1-2 major continuous improvement projects

_Qualifications You Must Have_

+ _Enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master’s program in Industrial or Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college/university_

+ _Proficiency with O365 products_

+ _Ability to learn quickly and streamline processes_

_Qualifications We Prefer_

+ _Minimum GPA of 3.0_

+ _Experience with SAP_

+ _Technical writing knowledge_

**_Onsite:_** _Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products._

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
