    Your role and responsibilities

     

    The Database Administrator supports Federal Maximo implementations by leading data migration efforts and ensuring database performance and integrity across platforms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Design and execute data migration strategies tailored to Federal Maximo systems

    * Analyze source system architecture and data to identify required elements

    * Develop migration plans, custom objects, and workflows for data import and validation

    * Oversee historical data transformation and ensure alignment with project timelines

    * Maintain database performance, integrity, and compliance across environments

    Required technical and professional expertise

    * Minimum of 10 years in database administration and enterprise data migration

    * Minimum of 5 years experience with IBM Maximo data migration and integration

    * At least 5 years experience with SQL Server and other DBMS platforms

    * 5+ years experience with data transformation and validation workflows

    * Strong understanding of source system architecture and data mapping

    * Experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security controls

    * Ability to develop stored procedures, triggers, and reporting systems

    * Experience auditing and maintaining data integrity across systems

    * Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the U.S. government

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    * 5+ years experience with Cloud Environments (AWS, IBM Cloud)

    * 5+ years understanding of IBM Maximo application, functionalities, and configuration options

    * 3+ years experience with Maximo custom object creation and workflow design

    * Experience serving as Task Leader or technical liaison

    * Experience in federal agency environments

    * Familiarity with Federal enterprise architecture and compliance standards
