Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Department Manager to join its Civil/Site Land Development team in Irvine, California. Responsibilities

+ Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products.

+ Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team.

+ Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team.

+ Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals.

+ Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required.

+ Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects.

+ Reviews monthly productivity and man-hour utilization-rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed.

+ Assigns projects to staff and schedules work.

+ Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy.

+ Oversees assigned staff development and advancement.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

+ 12+ years of experience in related field.

+ Professional licensure in area of expertise.

+ Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Strategic thinking.

+ Effective delegation skills.

+ Collaboration.

+ Ability to hold others accountable.

+ Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $145,100 to $205,200 (depending on qualifications)
