Status: Part-time, Benefit-Eligible

Average Hours per pay period: 40 hours every 2 weeks

+ DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

+ Helps to assemble and deliver patient meals per patient and direct patient care staff requests. Effectively communicates with patients and staff. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with Morris Hospital policy and IDPH regulations and other regulatory agency standards. Helps to assemble and deliver catered meals as assigned according to D-10 standards. Helps with various assigned departmental duties. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy.

+ QUALIFICATIONS

+ Professional/Educational

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.

+ Food Service experience and good customer service.

+ Personal

+ Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.

+ Must demonstrate pleasant, outgoing personality and a commitment to quality.

+ Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.

+ Must demonstrate good communication skills.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
