Opportunity Overview:
We are recruiting for a Test Technician within our New Product Introduction Group (NPI-Pilot Line team), Teradyne Memory Business Unit to join our team in San Jose, CA. This role is on site in our San Jose, CA office 5x week.
+ Responsible for conducting tests and evaluations on products (Tester and PCBA) to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
+ Conduct Testing: Test technicians perform various tests to evaluate the functionality, reliability, and durability of Nextest products. This can include stress tests, performance evaluations, and quality assurance checks.
+ Document Results: After conducting tests, recording and interpreting the results, providing detailed data to engineers and stakeholders to inform product development and improvements.
+ Maintain Equipment: Test technicians are responsible for the upkeep of testing equipment, including regular cleaning, calibration, debug and repairs to ensure accurate testing results.

+ Able to troubleshoot Equipment Tools (Oscilloscope, Meter).
+ Able to identify product and equipment failures.
+ Basic understanding to use measure test equipment (Meter, Scope, etc.).
+ General knowledge of the company products and operating principles is a plus
+ The ability to be on site 5x days a week, 7am-3:30pm
+ Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PDF, etc.)
+ 1-2 years of related experience is desired.
+ Ability of lift up to 50 pounds
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills.
+ Must be able to communicate with cross functional personnel (Verbally and by email).
+ Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Able to work overtime.
**We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $54,800 - $87,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
