    Position Description:** **EKG Tech

    The EKG Tech responsibilities include:

    + Performance of EKG including the completion of high-quality tests, report generation, record keeping and all related support activities.

    + Assists the physician and other health care professionals in related technical areas as needed.

    + Functions independently with minimal or no supervision and, may coordinate others, as applicable.

    Requirements:

    Certifications and Licensures:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    Education:

    + High School or Equivalent

    + Preferred TechnicalElectrocardiography (EKG)

    Experience:

    + Preferred 6 months Electrocardiogram (EKG)

    + Or 6 months related field

    + Computer Skills appropriate to position

    Weekend Work:** **Every Other

    On Call:** **No
