About the Role:
Part of the CBRE Direct Line team. Remote with 50-60% travel required. Applicants can be based in New Albany, OH; Ashburn, VA; or Charlotte, NC.
The company seeks a Regional Sr Project Manager to lead Outside Plant (OSP) construction projects for data center deployments. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards. Strong background in OSP construction, fiber network deployment, data center infrastructure. Can lead complex projects, develop teams, and communicate effectively. This position will work in close collaboration with project management and human resources to coordinate technician work force planning, resource dissemination and coordination, general oversight of field operations while providing technical direction to technicians, maintenance of safety standards, productivity, schedule, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and having a strong understanding of the union contract.
What You’ll Do:
+ Oversee and drive data center OSP construction projects, including developing schedules, budgets, and resource plans, monitoring progress, and leading collaborators. This involves coordinating with site teams, contractors, and vendors, leading project meetings, and assisting with negotiations.
+ Conduct regular site visits, communicate work order changes, and assist with project close-out activities.
+ Participate in the bid process for resources, equipment, and services, including contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, analysis, and recommendations. This also involves overseeing purchase/work orders and leading supply chain inventory.
+ Coach, mentor, and train site-based teams, provide direction to supervisors, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors, and evaluate team performance.
+ Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to track progress, schedule adherence, costing, and budget performance, and conduct regular budget reviews.
+ Conduct proactive risk analysis, develop mitigation strategies, evaluate infrastructure for future requirements, and implement safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and other standards.
+ Fulfill the primary contact role for clients, assist in approval procedures and permitting, and communicate information effectively to leadership, participants, and project teams. Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented, targeting for zero injuries and reporting safety hazards.
+ Review plans and specifications for constructability and scheduling issues, understand project documentation, and potentially assist Project Managers with quantity takeoffs and pricing estimates. This role requires being willing to travel 50%+ of the time.
What You’ll Need:
+ Possess 10+ years of related experience, OHSA 30 certification, and meet Motor Vehicle Record and client badging requirements.
+ Experienced with construction management software, adept in using Microsoft Office, and proficient in interpreting building blueprints and developments.
+ A strong teammate with field supervision, project management, and company administration staff, capable of planning and organizing team efforts, motivating, leading, and boosting team morale.
+ Possess excellent communication skills, good client management, and goodwill-building abilities.
+ Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards, a good understanding of building systems, effective time management, and logical decision-making ability.
+ A self-starter with strong leadership skills, able to set goals and tasks, handle pressure, remain calm and focused, and willing to travel extensively across multiple sites, with a strong focus on quality and safety.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Regional Senior Project Manager OSP position is $125,000 and the maximum salary for the Superintendent position is $150,000. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
