WCHS/WVAH in Charleston West Virginia is offering an exciting opportunity for a 2026 Spring internship! We’re seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our WCHS News team This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of broadcasting. **Please note, this is an unpaid internship.**
Qualified candidates will have:
+ Be enrolled at a four-year accredited college or university
+ Qualified candidates should also be planning and preparing for a job in broadcast or digital media
+ We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated students who are looking to get the most out of their internship experience
+ Qualified candidates should be receiving college credit to participate in this internship, and be at least 18 years of age (credit verification forms will be provided)
What the intern will do:
+ Assist with all levels of WCHS's production; including producing, directing, and shooting news.
+ Answer to the show’s producer, director, or photographer depending on the day
+ Learn all aspects of the broadcasting process.
