Where You’ll Work
This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.
What You’ll Do The Learning & Member Experience Coordinator contributes to a team responsible for organizing conference and program content enabling participants in Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) events to network, share best practices, and learn about important aspects of pediatric health care. Activities may include meeting preparation and support, project management, and communicating with CHA and children’s hospital staff.
+ Oversee the tracking, documentation, and distribution of meeting deliverables including agendas, minutes, and continuing education (CE) certificates.
+ Coordinate all aspects of meeting preparation, including managing meeting registrations, communicating with speakers, developing customized project checklists, and preparing meeting documents and materials.
+ Manage assigned forum and/or conference projects, including scheduling conference calls and webinars, creating meeting evaluations, organizing meeting content for distribution, executing and communicating outcomes to team members, and communicating and working with industry experts and presenters.
+ Oversee on-site logistics for meetings and events, such as setting up equipment, liaising with venue personnel, and supporting forum meetings and conference learning sessions by attending meetings, assisting staff and participants, distributing materials, and capturing key notes.
+ Enhance operational efficiency by developing templates, processes, and tools to streamline programming activities.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and children’s hospital staff through responsive email communication, proactive problem-solving, and engagement at CHA meetings and events.
Required Experience:
What You’ll Bring to CHA
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education via college coursework or business school preferred.
+ Minimum of three years’ experience supporting a senior manager.
+ Strong personal computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
+ Experienced in managing and supporting multiple projects at the same time.
+ Ability to work effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, children’s hospital personnel, and other external individuals.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills with a knack for grammar and proofreading.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
+ Ability to travel up to 20%

More About CHA
This pay range shown is a guideline. Min: $45,000 Max: $88,000 Compensation is based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
