The **Patient Services Support Coordinator** is responsible for answering the overflow calls (dialed 0), directing those calls to the appropriate department. Exception report for reminder calls while ensuring every customer receives the highest level of customer service. Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. Services visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

+ Serves as receptionist greeting visitors, signs for packages, mail/package distribution, maintains lobby area in order and provides clerical support.

+ Answers overflow of incoming calls and directs to the appropriate department.

+ Calls patients from the exception report for reminder calls.

+ Assist the Intake and New Patient Advocate departments.

+ Completes any additional job duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Certificate from College or Technical School preferred.

+ Minimum 1 year experience in medical or related field required.

+ Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

+ Knowledge of health insurance industry practices and/or medical billing procedures.

+ Computer literacy required.

+ Experience with medical scheduling/billing systems is desired.

+ Bilingual preferred.

+ The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.

Physical Requirements:

Standard office environment. May be exposed to communicable disease when interacting with patients.

More than 50% of the time:

+ Sit, stand, and walk.

+ Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.

+ See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.

Less than 50% of the time:

+ Stoop, kneel or crawl.

+ Climb and balance.

+ Carry and lift 10-20 pounds
