As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible throughout the site, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will travel throughout the property as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and by responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order within the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for potential issues.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies by carrying out established protocols and providing guidance to occupants if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least six months of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ A current CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
