As a **Security Officer - Logistics Access Control** in **Kennesaw, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal team member specializing in access control within a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into logistics and distribution areas.

+ Verify the identification and credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.

+ Provide customer service by communicating site-specific policies and procedures to visitors, drivers, and employees.

+ Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Document and report any suspicious activities or violations of site policies.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues.

+ Assist in emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

+ Maintain detailed logs of activities and incidents as required by the client location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
