As a **Security Officer - Logistics Screener Driver** in **Fort Myers, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attention to detail. You will conduct routine patrols and play a key role in access control, supporting a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the state of employment. What You'll Do:

+ Conduct screening of individuals entering the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific procedures and protocols.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with inquiries and directions related to access control.

+ Carry out security-related procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and location-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating appropriate emergency response activities as needed.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and incidents as required by site protocols.

+ Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the location.

+ Maintain a professional presence at screening checkpoints, upholding the standards of Allied Universal and the client location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Prior customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
