As a **Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol** in **Bellevue, WA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication will help create a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. You will also respond promptly to incidents, support access control procedures, and utilize technology to complete your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.

+ Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, visitors and/or employees regarding security-related matters.

+ Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policy.

+ Document and report incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to established procedures.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as necessary during incident response or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
