    _What Will You Do?_

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer III to join our team specializing in Air Cooled Heat Exchangers for industrial applications. This role will lead the design, analysis, and optimization of air-cooled heat exchangers, ensuring compliance with ASME, API, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong project leadership, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional teams from concept through delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Contribute in the design and engineering of air cooler systems, including header, tube, and fan assemblies.

    + Perform thermal and mechanical calculations to ensure system performance meets customer and regulatory requirements.

    + Collaborate with project managers, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of engineering deliverables.

    + Review and approve fabrication drawings, including bundle arrangements, nozzle load tables, and motor specifications.

    + Provide technical support during proposal development, including cost estimation and scope definition.

    + Interface with customers to clarify technical requirements and resolve engineering issues.

    + Support testing, troubleshooting, and field commissioning as needed.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

     

    _Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_

     

    This position is primarily based in an office environment located in Tulsa, OK. The role also requires regular visits to the manufacturing facility for troubleshooting, design reviews, and collaboration with production teams. Appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided and must be worn during all facility visits. Candidates should be comfortable navigating shop floors, interacting with fabrication teams, and inspecting air cooler components in various stages of assembly.

     

    _Your Experience Should Be..._

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

    + 5–8 years of experience in heat exchanger or air cooler design, preferably in oil & gas or industrial sectors.

    + Proficiency in API 661 and ASME codes.

    + Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.

    + Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and structural analysis.

    + Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
