Work You'll Do
As a Deloitte Manager, you will lead and deliver small engagements or components of larger, complex engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for companies. Deloitte's managers help companies spur growth, reduce costs, and thrive in today's digital world. Our managers serve as mentors to staff, directors in delivery transformation, industry experts, and engagement leaders. Manager level responsibilities include:
+ Providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues
+ Determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches
+ Evaluating and validating analysis of the overall engagement
+ Developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
+ Implementing and overseeing the quality of deliverables
+ Effectively managing the team(s) and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance
+ Understanding of cross-functional and functional coordination.
+ Building on and participating in business development activities
The TeamOur Performance Improvement & Restructuring (PI&R) practice develops and leads enterprise-level Board and C-suite agendas for clients across the performance spectrum-healthy, underperforming, and distressed-to enhance margins, address financial challenges, and optimize cash flow in support of critical transformation initiatives.
Deloitte's leaders in P&CI see reducing costs as the key to margin improvement today. Our leaders are doing this by accelerating technology investment and targeting cost-reduction efforts. As part of the PI&R offering, P&CI focuses on rapidly addressing financial pressures and stabilizing our client's business performance. Our tailored interventions help deliver measurable results quickly. These services include business simplification, dramatically reducing dealer-to-delivery friction, legal entity rationalization, working capital and liquidity, post-M&A transformation (synergy planning and capture), margin improvement and cost reduction, operation model transformation, business model transformation, artificial intelligence and analytics, and global tax restructuring.
QualificationsRequired:
+ 6+ years of experience in management consulting in operations improvement, transformation, M&A integration, or business process reengineering around global cost reduction or development of global growth strategies
+ 6+ years of experience in financial analysis and working with data inputs from multiple sources, to understand value creation opportunities
+ 6+ years of experience in M&A or M&A service delivery experience, or other M&A-related experiences including planning and implementing integration and separation projects as the result of M&A activity, working with clients on Day One readiness and execution proficiency and executing synergy targeting and realization
+ 6+ years of experience conducting operating model fine-tuning and organizational design
+ 6+ years of experience developing models using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visual Basic, or other tools (Tableau)
+ 3+ years of experience in Energy, Resources and Industrials
+ Bachelor's degree and 6+ years consulting and/or industry experience
+ Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
+ Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
+ Strong analysis skills (Excel required with other analytics capabilities preferred)
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments in a collaborative environment
+ Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
+ Eagerness to mentor junior staff
+ An advanced degree

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800 to $253,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
