Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their team. As an Accounting Assistant , you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Accounting Assistant

**Location:** Mettawa, IL

What's the Job?

+ Processing new membership agreements, hold requests, and other billing-related member requests

+ Preparation of KPI trackers to monitor performance metrics

+ Collaborating closely with the Sales team and Member Experience team to ensure an excellent member experience

+ Working with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve invoicing issues

+ Supporting data entry, record keeping, and computer operations to maintain accurate financial records

What's Needed?

+ Minimum 1 year experience in general accounting or transaction processing

+ Associate degree in Finance or Accounting

+ Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and multi-tasking abilities

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines

+ Well-organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter attitude
