WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Finance Master Data Analyst who is
passionate about data management, data transformation, and process
excellence. The ideal candidate is skilled in information systems, data
structures, and problem solving. This candidate should be comfortable
working with a diverse group of partners and communicating and
executing work you're doing with leadership. You will lead
transformation efforts in Nike’s Finance Master Data Management
strategy and ensure data integrity across Nike’s system landscape.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will support and execute finance master data related tasks while
leading efforts on system implementations for process excellence and
execution with a focus on data management and data quality. You will
work closely with partners to ensure proactive communication of key
dates and deliverables, as well as examine existing data structures
and future data structures to find opportunities to help partners
understand impeding changes. Additionally, you will ensure changes
from the business are communicated, tested and implemented with
direct partnership with the tech teams and broader Finance Business
Intelligence Team. You will have expert level knowledge on finance
master data, key attribution and the impacts on downstream
reporting, processes, and application all while assessing, evaluating
and recommending improvements or changes to improve existing
processes. You will also partner closely with the Finance Data Governance team to provide input on policies and sustain the policies
through operation procedures.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
You will engage with Global and Geo Finance Planning and
Controlling teams, Nike Tech teams, Finance Project teams, and the
Finance Business Intelligence Team.
WHAT YOU BRING
+ A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or Finance or or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ MBA and/or CPA preferred but not required.
+ 5+ years of relevant experience– preferably including experience with a national public accounting firm or with a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company.
+ Experience using, designing, and/or helping to implement MDM tools like Informatica or MDG in sophisticated IT landscapes.
+ Experience using ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, Infor, etc.
+ Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks with the team.
+ A proven track record of delivering results (quality, time, budget) on globally and regionally based projects preferred.
