    **Job Title:** Lab Technician

    **Location:** Oxnard, CA

    **Pay Range:** $25.00 per hour

    **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

    **2ND SHIFT (2pm - 12:30am AND available for 10-12hrs of OT a week)

     

    Our client, a leader in agricultural science and seed quality analysis, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting seed testing and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Create and move physical seed samples for testing and analysis

    + Perform designated physical seed quality analyses and seed health tests

    + Prepare buffers and reagents for laboratory procedures

    + Assist with greenhouse work, including maintaining indicator plants and conducting grow-out assays

    + Inspect, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment following ISO Quality Management Standards

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

    + 4+ years of related laboratory or seed testing experience preferred

    + Ability to follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE

    + Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to work in a team and adapt to a multi-cultural environment
