    Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and tooling, is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Tooling/Mold Technician to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Tooling/Mold Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of injection molds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** 2nd Shift Tooling/Mold Technician

    **Location:** Edinburgh, IN

    **Pay Range:** $49000 - $66000

    **Shift:** Second Shift

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Perform mold changes and ensure mold tools are ready to meet production schedules.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on mold tools.

    + Recommend changes and enhancements to procedures and equipment to improve operational efficiency.

    + Maintain a safe, clean working environment in compliance with safety standards.

    + Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support team goals.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Basic math skills, including knowledge of shop/mechanical mathematics.

    + Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and 3D models.

    + Ability to comprehend and retain technical verbal and written instructions.

    + Understanding and experience with mold tool construction and maintenance.

    + High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

    + Prior injection mold tool maintenance and assembly experience is advantageous.

    + Physical ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 lbs and occasionally handle objects over 100 lbs.

    + Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed.

    + Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a team-oriented mindset.
