    We are seeking a talented Senior Project Manager - Federal Systems based in Washington D.C. who will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of large-scale voice and data services.

    Accountabilities Include:

    + Manage the full telecommunications project lifecycle across multiple locations, often under high-pressure conditions with competing priorities.

    + Direct engagement with clients, vendors, property managers (commercial and GSA), building engineers, and internal teams.

    + Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of project tasks.

    + Assist project team members, Subject Matter Experts, and Sponsor with the definition of project scope and objectives by involving relevant stakeholders, identifying requirements and ensuring technical feasibility.

    + Work with impacted areas of the program to secure adequate resources, materials and funding.

    + Develop detailed project schedule with some assistance from Program Manager and/or Scheduler.

    + Perform continued maintenance, updating and tracking of project schedule activities and progress reporting.

    + Identify and manage dependencies between departments, systems, vendors and assets.

    + Coordinate assessment of changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

    + Manage project changes through established Governance Change Control process to ensure appropriate approvals.

    + Identify and document project issues and risks and monitor progress of mitigation actions.

    + Successfully establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external resources and key project stakeholders involved in project tasks and key critical path deliverables.

    + Monitor delivery timeline and escalate related issues through the appropriate escalation process.

    + Develop and maintain of required project management artifacts in accordance with standards and applicable regulations.

    + Identify efficiencies and recommend process improvements to reduce costs and add value.

    Requirements for Success:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

    + Project Management Professional Certification (Must possess or successfully obtain within 12 months of hire.)

    + Minimum of 5 years of project management experience managing telecommunications projects.

    + Demonstrated project management skills with prior experience managing large complexity projects involving multiple departments.

    + Strong communication skills with focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service.

    + Experience with managing cross-functional teams and cross-organizational implementations with multiple dependencies.

    + Ability to consolidate project performance data into various types of communication and reporting vehicles to address both management and project team level audiences.

    + Expert knowledge of project management principles and processes, e.g., budget and resource control, cost/benefit analysis, risk management, scheduling, metrics development and utilization, and analysis, in order to provide authoritative guidance in these areas; assess the quality and potential for success of projects; prioritize and integrate various projects; and resolve complex project management issues.

    + Ability to translate complex technical concepts and telecom terminology into clear, customer-friendly language.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks in high situations.

    + Professional self-starter who is reliable, flexible, proactive, resilient, organized, and punctual.

    + Computer skills to include understanding basic computer manipulation, managing computer files, word processing, using spreadsheets and databases, creating presentations, finding information, and communicating.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively express ideas and information.

    + Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.

    + Basic math computation skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions.

    + Ability to follow policies, processes and procedures.

    + Effective use of Microsoft 365 suite of products.

    + Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to task in completing assignments with quality outputs.

    + Ability to achieve and maintain industry-recognized credential(s).

    + Maintain a clean driving record.

    + U.S. Citizenship.

    + Top Secret Security Clearance. (Secret clearance is acceptable to start, contingent upon obtaining Top Secret clearance within 12 months of hire.)

    The expected salary for this position ranges from $132,375.00 - $186,625.00.

     

    This role may require you to meet vendor specific credentialing requirements to visit customer sites as a condition of your continued employment. These requirements vary based on the respective healthcare, educational, state, or federal customer and may include vaccinations, additional background checks, additional drug testing, and any other type of criteria as specified by the customer.
