Description
Amazon is seeking a self-driven, highly organized, resourceful, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Office of the VP, Finance Operations.
This role will partner with the lead Executive Assistant to continually meet the demands of a Vice President’s office. Importantly, this role has frequent interaction with business and technology leaders, support teams, and Executive Assistants at the highest levels in the company.
You will be an experienced and proactive planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining great flexibility and a sense of humor. Key to the position are exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to switch gears on short notice. You will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, goal-focused environment, and possess an ability to navigate complex areas with limited supervision.
A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and maintaining data privacy is also critical to success, as is professionalism in dealing with senior leadership and peers alike.
Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and business partner roles
and responsibilities is important as this position will work closely with other Executive Assistants and leaders across Amazon. You will demonstrate grace under pressure, be able to thrive in a team environment, and build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization
This role is to be based in Seattle, WA and requires five (5) days a week in office.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars and scheduling with teams in across the globe (multiple locations and time zones)
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow-up on action items
- Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner
- Coordinate global schedules and seamless meeting logistics, for internal and external meetings, staff meeting agendas, All Teams, off-sites, etc.
- Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
- Document writing, editing, and readiness
- Ensure accurate archiving of departmental data on appropriate sites
- Expense reimbursement including report coordination, submission and issue tracking
- Have fun and help others do the same

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
