Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction projects from inception through closeout. This role is responsible for managing subcontractor relationships, coordinating project documentation, ensuring timely completion of deliverables, and maintaining financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Subcontractor Management: Evaluate subcontractor qualifications and finalize subcontract and purchase order agreements
+ Document Coordination: Review, approve, and manage essential project documentation including shop drawings, mock-up approvals, pre-installation meeting notes, and design clarifications
+ Project Execution: Oversee daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards
+ Punch List & Closeout: Lead the punch list process, ensuring all items are completed prior to demobilization. Manage project closeout by coordinating walkthroughs with owners and architects, compiling closeout documentation, and securing final sign-offs
+ Financial Oversight: Review and approve invoices and receipts for accuracy. Assist with collections and prepare monthly financial reports to track project performance
+ Communication & Coordination: Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent communication with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Required Qualifications
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field
+ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial construction
+ Proficiency in Procore, RFIs, change order management, and construction documentation
+ Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budget control

Work Environment
This is a full-time, onsite role requiring presence on project sites across Southeast Wisconsin, Monday through Friday. The Project Manager must be available to oversee progress, coordinate with field teams, and ensure project milestones are met.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
