Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in a dynamic doctor's office environment. This position involves drawing blood and processing specimens, ensuring accurate entry into our computer system, and preparing samples for testing. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in the pre and post aspects of analytical testing and adhere to the highest standards of conduct.
Responsibilities
+ Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing in a doctor's office.
+ Collect and receive biological specimens and enter them correctly into the computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical areas.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Essential Skills
+ At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Navajo is a must.
+ Proficiency in blood draw, specimen collection, laboratory practices, and patient care.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GED or High School Diploma required.
+ Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Work Environment
This position is based in a doctor's office in Scottsdale, AZ, working closely with medical assistants. The work schedule involves rotating 8 hour shifts from 6 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. The role offers opportunities for growth, including a career ladder for advancement to a Phlebotomist Technician 2 position after six months, with a potential salary increase. The organization emphasizes internal promotion and provides a supportive environment for career development.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
