The Interior Designer Project Manager will lead the design and execution of custom residential projects from concept through completion. This role combines creative design expertise with strong project management skills to ensure client satisfaction, adherence to timelines, and budget compliance. You will collaborate with clients, architects, builders, and vendors to deliver high-quality, bespoke interiors that reflect the client’s vision.
Key Responsibilities
+ Design Leadership
+ Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and material selections for custom residential projects.
+ Create detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules using CAD/Revit or similar software.
+ Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements.
+ Project Management
+ Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of interior design projects, including procurement and installation.
+ Prepare and maintain project documentation: scope, schedule, budget, and progress reports.
+ Monitor project milestones and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
+ Client & Stakeholder Coordination
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the design process.
+ Collaborate with architects, builders, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction.
+ Negotiate with vendors and manage purchasing of furnishings, finishes, and fixtures.
+ Quality & Compliance
+ Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
+ Conduct site visits to verify design intent and quality of work.
Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
+ Experience: 5+ years in residential interior design, with at least 2 years in project management.
+ Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Project or similar tools.
+ Strong organizational, budgeting, and time-management skills.
+ Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Hartland, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
