Job Title: Architectural DesignerJob Description
The Project Manager is a proactive and organized professional with strong communication skills and a solid foundation in design and project coordination. This role involves managing cross-functional teams and overseeing projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Lead coordination of internal and external teams and facilitate project meetings.
+ Review and manage design and documentation processes.
+ Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
+ Develop technical documentation and project materials.
+ Navigate regulatory requirements, including code compliance and permitting.
+ Conduct research and specify materials and products.
+ Create workplans and manage team assignments.
+ Draft project proposals and manage authorization processes.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit and BlueBeam.
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
+ Experience in project management.
+ Commercial experience, preferably in housing.
+ Ability to navigate construction documents and design development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Registered with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the design industry, preferably in multifamily, commercial, or institutional building types.
+ Additional accreditations such as WELL or Passive House are highly valued.
+ Experience with design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
+ Passion for design and engagement in extracurricular or industry-related activities is encouraged.
Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
