Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer is a crucial role responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment within a single manufacturing facility. This position supports the manufacture and assembly of both new and existing products, with a focus on optimizing production, quality, cost, and safety. The role may also involve developing and deploying capital projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Plan and design basic manufacturing processes to improve the assembly of products.
+ Determine equipment and tooling needed to achieve manufacturing goals.
+ Develop and implement process improvement projects focusing on efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost.
+ Lead small teams in process improvement efforts.
+ Provide guidance to engineering leadership on design concepts and specification requirements.
+ Ensure complex processes and procedures comply with regulations.
+ Investigate and suggest corrective actions to ensure product quality and resolve quality issues.

+ Tooling and fixture design
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering field with 2-5 years of experience.
+ Proficient in applying engineering concepts for one solution line.
+ Ability to solve problems of moderate to difficult scope using a systematic approach.
+ Experience with continuous improvement methods such as pull systems and process mapping.
+ Proficient knowledge of data structures and database programming.
+ Experience with CAD/CAM systems and standard business software.
+ Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browser.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Batesville, MS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $73000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
