Job Title: Civil Engineer EITJob Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer EIT to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with other engineers, surveyors, and drafters on various projects, including grading plans, utility plans, and erosion control. The ideal candidate will have experience in design and interpretation of various plans and documents related to civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for creating grading plans, utility plans, and erosion control measures.

+ Prepare permit applications for local, state, and federal approvals.

+ Design water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems for planned developments and site development projects.

+ Interpret survey, architectural, MEP, structural, and landscape mapping, plans, and reports.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

+ Experience in land development, site design, and civil design.

+ Knowledge of stormwater management and erosion control.

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

+ 2-3 years of related experience.

+ EIT certification with the ability to obtain PE.

+ Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ambitious and quick learner.

+ Experience with multi-family and industrial projects is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is based in a team-oriented office environment, with approximately 15 individuals in the Illinois office and support from the Wisconsin office. The dress code is business casual. Standard working hours are 8-5, with flexibility available. The role offers potential for hybrid work schedules after gaining two years of experience. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Dundee, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $37.50/hr.
