    Job Title: CAD Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking an outstanding mechanical CAD engineer who possesses exceptional technical and analytical skills, with a proven ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. The role involves creating both detailed and high-level drawings of warehouse designs, material handling equipment, conveyors, work areas, and fulfillment center storage solutions. This will be based on current templates and will also include design support for future templates. Drawings will require detailed 3D layouts using Revit, as well as 2D plan views and corresponding elevation views using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will work independently with various stakeholders and consistently deliver high-quality results.

    Responsibilities

    + Create detailed and high-level 3D and 2D drawings for warehouse designs and related equipment.

    + Design support for future templates and modifications.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver accordingly.

    + Work independently to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

    + Ensure high standards and accuracy in all technical drawings.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for layout design.

    + Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM field such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, physical engineering, or related fields.

    + 3+ years of professional experience working with AutoCAD and Revit.

    + Strong communication and writing skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous directions.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar field.

    + 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced design environment using both AutoCAD and Revit.

    + Knowledge of material handling equipment, conveyors, sortation systems, and warehouse design.

    + Familiarity with online file document management systems like BIM360 and ACC.

    + Experience with parametric modeling with experience creating detailed families/parts/dynamic blocks.

    Work Environment

    The position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days on-site and 2 days working remotely. The work environment encourages deep dives into projects, high standards, result delivery, and simplification of complex processes.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.50/hr.
