Position: Survey CAD Technician (Intermediate Level)
Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician with hands-on experience in Civil 3D and survey drafting to support a variety of land development and construction projects. This is a great opportunity to work closely with engineers and project managers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare detailed topographical surveys, property boundary maps, and construction layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
+ Upload and download survey data into AutoCAD for drafting and analysis
+ Conduct land record research to support survey and design efforts
+ Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all deliverables
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
+ Strong understanding of survey drafting, topography, and land surveying principles
+ Ability to interpret and work with survey data and land records
+ Effective communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary teams
+ Prior experience in survey drafting is essential
Preferred Skills:
+ Familiarity with GIS tools or additional CAD platforms
+ Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects

This is a Permanent position based out of Shelton, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
