As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, and product quality. This role involves developing and writing equipment and process standards, troubleshooting process and equipment problems, and assisting in the development of new products. You will work closely with project management and cross-functional teams to support installations, new launches, and special/capital projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement throughout the plant. Additionally, you will play a role in the development of equipment preventive maintenance and may use CAD for tooling, jig, and/or fixture design.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor and maintain manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure product quality.
+ Develop and write standards for equipment and processes.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues.
+ Assist in the development of new products.
+ Collaborate with project management and cross-functional teams for installations and new launches.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Drive continuous improvement throughout the plant.
+ Develop preventive maintenance for equipment.
+ Design tooling, jigs, and fixtures using CAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years of related manufacturing experience.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Knowledge of MS Office.
+ Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or other computer-aided design tools.
+ 2+ years of experience in manufacturing is a plus.
+ Experience with machining.
+ Robotics/PLC knowledge.
Work Environment
You will spend 80% of your time on the production floor and 20% in the office. You will be exposed to both office and production floor environments, with temperatures ranging from cold to very hot and varying noise levels. Ear protection is required at all times. You should be able to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities, with minimal supervision after orientation and training. A strong customer-service orientation and the ability to work productively in environments with high levels of interruption are essential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paris, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
