We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, drive efficiency, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role blends technical expertise with hands-on operations and a proactive mindset. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, collaborative, and skilled in problem-solving and process enhancement.
Responsibilities
+ Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve productivity.
+ Maintain SOPs and documentation aligned with plant and industry standards.
+ Evaluate and recommend tooling/equipment upgrades or replacements.
+ Lead equipment procurement and integration from purchase order to production.
+ Apply root-cause analysis to resolve safety, quality, and technical issues.
+ Coach teams on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
+ Oversee CNC programming and equipment setup.
+ Lead quality assurance and control system development.
+ Maintain and update shop drawings.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
+ Proven experience in manufacturing engineering and change management.
+ Proficient in CAD software and MS Office.
+ Strong skills in process improvement and lean manufacturing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with tooling, engineering, assembly, design, and work instruction.
+ Knowledge in machining, production, automation, and troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with Autocad, validation, and process flow.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Augustine, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
