    Jr. Applications Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design and develop system components to meet global application requirements.

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to define product specifications for new programs.

    + Work with suppliers to optimize designs for performance, reliability, and cost.

    + Guide off-site engineering teams in analysis and detailing tasks.

    + Conduct design FMEAs and develop validation requirements.

    + Create and execute product validation plans.

    + Analyze field data to resolve product issues.

    + Maintain detailed project plans and conduct design reviews.

    + Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation.

    + Communicate technical information across teams and stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in practical environments.

    + Excellent communication and follow-up skills.

    Work Environment

    This is an onsite, first-shift position. The role involves significant collaboration with suppliers.

    This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
