Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Survey Rodman where you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the survey industry. You will play a crucial role in supporting the crew chief by setting up projects, cutting lines, carrying equipment, and collecting data using GPS. Your efforts will contribute to residential land development, TxDOT projects, boundary surveys, and more. If you have CAD experience, you will receive training in the office and work frequently in AutoCAD on various survey tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Cut lines and carry equipment to project sites.
+ Assist the crew chief in setting up for each project.
+ Set up and operate GPS equipment to collect data.
+ Support residential land development, TxDOT, and boundary surveys.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Engage in hands-on fieldwork, ensuring precise data collection.
Essential Skills
+ Experience working outdoors in surveying, construction, or landscaping.
+ A general understanding of the survey industry.
+ Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ CAD experience is beneficial, with opportunities for training in AutoCAD.
+ Familiarity with GPS, land survey, surveying, topography, and total station is advantageous.
Work Environment
This role requires travel up to 50% of the time. You will work in various outdoor environments, contributing to diverse projects. The position offers training opportunities for a career in surveying, with exposure to cutting-edge technology and equipment in the field.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
