• Plant Engineer

    Overview:

    We are hiring a Plant Engineer to lead small capital investment projects and provide technical support for plant operations. This role focuses on safe, cost-effective, and timely execution of engineering initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage small capital and technical change projects from design through startup.

    + Provide engineering support to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

    + Serve as project manager or consultant on larger capital projects as needed.

    + Develop and maintain engineering documentation, standards, and work instructions.

    + Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives and productivity enhancements.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor of Science in Engineering

    + 3-5 years of proven experience in plant engineering or project engineering

    + Strong understanding of engineering practices, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and influence key decisions related to cost, schedule, and quality.

    This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
