    Pharmacy Technician – Onsite & Hybrid Opportunity (Irving, TX)

     

    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a **Pharmacy Technician** in Irving, Texas! This position offers a great opportunity to grow in a reputable pharmacy environment supporting prescription processing, data entry, and patient care coordination.

     

    The **Pharmacy Technician** will work under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, handling technical, nonjudgmental duties such as prescription entry, refill requests, eligibility verification, and third-party claims processing.

     

    If you’re a licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician with at least six months of experience and looking for a stable, structured hybrid opportunity — this could be the perfect fit!

     

    **Pay Rate** : $ 19.00/hour

    **Schedule** : Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8-hour shift + 30-minute lunch)

    **Location:** Irving, TX

    **Training** : Onsite for 60 days, then Hybrid (based on performance)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Enter and process new prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

    • Send and process refill requests, verify patient eligibility, and handle insurance claims.

    • Review and interpret prescriptions, ensuring proper authorization and dosage calculations.

    • Maintain inventory control, record keeping, and compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.

    • Support prescriber and patient calls, shipment coordination, and cross-functional communication.

    • Meet productivity, quality, and attendance standards consistently.

    • Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency in daily tasks.

    Requirements

    Active Pharmacy Technician License – Certified with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (must not expire within 90 days of start date)

     

    Minimum 6 months of pharmacy experience (retail, mail-order, or specialty setting preferred)

     

    Reliable transportation to be onsite for training (5 days/week for at least 60 days)

     

    Availability for shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (standard schedule 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

     

    Dedicated private workspace at home for hybrid work after training
