Warehouse Associate – $18/hr | Alexandria, VA
About the Role
Adecco is currently assisting a local company in recruiting for a **Warehouse Associate** in **Alexandria, VA** . This is a **temporary opportunity** with a pay rate of **$18 per hour** . The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
Shift Schedule:
+ Tuesday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
+ Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
+ Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
+ Verify the completeness and correctness of all outgoing shipments.
+ Stock and store materials and supplies within the warehouse.
+ Report inventory damage or loss to the supervisor.
+ Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down).
+ Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
+ Follow all GMP, safety, and food safety guidelines.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
+ Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Must have **forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down)** .
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold or freezer environments.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus).
+ Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
+ Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
+ Work conditions include cold (+25–40°F) and freezer (-10°F) environments.
+ Must follow all safety and hygiene requirements.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
