    Position: Client Account Representative I – Finance TeamLocation: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in our Bethel, CT office as needed)

     

    About the Role:The Client Account Representative I handles day-to-day billing and payment processing, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up to date. In this role, you’ll help keep our financial operations running smoothly while collaborating with the team to resolve issues and meet deadlines.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Run regular batch reports in Evolv, identifying issues or missing information, and actively follow up to obtain necessary data.

    + Enter billing information into the A/R system, review work, and run related reports to finalize charges before month-end closing.

    + Ensure billing deadlines are met and review claims for accuracy prior to submission to support first-time clean payments.

    + Apply corresponding payments to biller-responsible charges before month-end closing.

    + Review accounts monthly to ensure receivables do not exceed 90 days; follow up on delinquent accounts using funder-specific methods.

    + Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation to support internal reporting and cross-departmental needs.

    + Cross-train within the department to support all billing responsibilities as needed.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Business School certificate with 1 year of experience OR 3 years of related experience, preferably in the healthcare field.

    + Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.

    + Comfortable using basic and intermediate Excel skills.

    + Detail-oriented and accurate with data entry and reporting.

    + Collaborative team player with good communication skills.
