Job Summary
The **Scrum Master, D&T, Global SAP S/4 HANA Program Management** position responsible to drive and govern activities for the SAP S/4 HANA programs and support legacy ERP system. This includes management of instance availability, connections to both internal and external systems, working with Application Security and Cyber Security to ensure a hardened architecture, working with architects and engineers to ensure efficient use of capabilities, and providing oversight and governance to partner organizations responsible for managing the SAP administration. This positional collaborates with operations, enterprise & shopfloor functions to define, deliver and support Digital and Transformation enabled business solutions. Also help support strategic direction, business operation, Application support, determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for application testing using tools like Azure DevOps, HP ALM, JIRA, Power BI, UFT, etc. This role has primary accountability for driving the SAP S/4 HANA program management, ERP Application support, Enterprise business support and working on quality assurance solutions for our SAP, West Digital Platform, Infra, e-Commerce and other applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Digital Transformation Leadership Lead and manage large-scale SAP S/4 HANA initiatives that drive digital transformation, harnessing technology to foster innovation and advancement.
+ Business Collaboration Establish a deep understanding of organizational needs and cultivate collaboration across operations, supply chain, finance, and other critical functions. Define Digital & Technology (D&T) requirements while recommending best practices and innovative solutions to enhance business processes.
+ Leadership Excellence Oversee a global team of 30-50 SAP S/4 HANA solution architects and quality assurance experts. Ensure the delivery of timely and precise quality assurance across both SAP and non-SAP systems, fostering a high-performance culture.
+ Strategic Direction Leverage industry best practices to shape strategic direction and execute quality assurance solutions. Partner with Application and Infrastructure teams to deliver impactful results aligned with organizational goals.
+ Technical Alignment Define and synchronize SAP solutions with operational processes, ensuring consistent alignment across diverse organizational domains.
+ Stakeholder Engagement Engage proactively with business stakeholders to implement quality assurance transformations. Establish robust data management processes, including metadata taxonomy and ownership, to drive data integrity and accountability.
+ Process Improvement Conduct regular audits and implement continuous process enhancements, with a focus on reducing lead times and elevating operational efficiency.
+ SAP Optimization Support the comprehensive management and optimization of SAP processes. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, including Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
+ Data Security Oversee and regulate access to sensitive formulation information, ensuring stringent data protection and security measures are in place.
+ Team Development Inspire and empower team members through targeted training, coaching, and mentorship.
Additional Responsibilities
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree Engineering. Project Management will be beneficial
Work Experience
+ 5 - 8 years of related work experience
+ Extensive Industry Experience: Long-term experience in ERP program management, especially with SAP systems, can demonstrate practical skills and knowledge.
+ Hands-On Technical Expertise: Proven technical expertise in SAP technologies, cloud solutions, and enterprise architecture gained through on-the-job experience.
+ Leadership Roles: Experience in leading and managing large-scale IT projects or teams, showcasing leadership and strategic planning skills.
+ Relevant Certifications: Earning industry-recognized certifications such as SAP certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Scrum Master certification can validate expertise.
+ Contributions to Major Projects: Active involvement in significant SAP implementations or digital transformation projects that demonstrate problem-solving and innovation skills.
+ Consulting Experience: Working as a consultant on SAP projects, providing insights and solutions, and driving business change.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ SAP Expertise: Deep understanding and experience in architecting SAP solutions including SAP ERP (SD, MM, PP, FI, etc.), SAP APO, SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP Personas/Fiori, and SAP Mobility.
+ Program Management: Proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA program management and governance procedures, with a track record in designing and configuring quality assurance solutions.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure DevOps for planning, execution, communication, and artifacts management. Familiarity with architecting and managing cloud-based solutions on Azure.
+ Agile Development: Experience in Agile methodologies, including developing in Azure DevOps/VSTS, and creating reusable Azure DevOps templates.
+ Product Development: Strong capability in product management, with expertise in creating end-to-end product development traceability matrices and setting up product development and support strategies.
+ Regulatory Knowledge: Detailed understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations, including cGMP and SoX compliance, and experience in system implementation, auditing, testing, and validation.
+ Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics using tools like Excel and Power BI, with the ability to monitor and troubleshoot Azure-hosted solutions.
+ Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with various organizational levels, and work effectively in a global, virtual environment.
+ Autonomy and Judgment: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex environment, using sound judgment to manage multiple priorities with urgency.
+ Lean Sigma: Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs, aiming towards the delivery of targeted goals.
+ Project Management: Adept at working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
License and Certifications
Travel Requirements
10%: Up to 26 business days per year
Physical Requirements
Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
