**Pay Range:** $23.12 - $36.41 per hour

Summary:
The Billing Analyst is responsible for managing and executing accurate and timely billing processes across various departments and external clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Required Job Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Business
+ 3 years of billing or related accounting/finance experience.
+ Experience with general ledger/month-end close processes.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Microsoft Excel.
+ Excellent Communication and problem-solving Skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
+ Experience working within Healthcare
+ Experience in healthcare or telecommunications billing.
+ Certifications such as Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or Certified Accounts Payable Associate (CAPA).
Responsibilities:
+ Prepare, review, and submit invoices in accordance with contractual agreements and organizational policies.
+ Monitor aging schedules, track payments, and follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure timely collections.
+ Investigate billing discrepancies and customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional resolution.
+ Generate periodic and ad-hoc financial reports, including account analysis and billing trends, for management review.
+ Maintain and update billing systems and ensure accurate customer data entry.
+ Ensure customer contracts are current and properly documented; maintain organized digital records.
+ Deposit and record payments, apply them to customer accounts, and reconcile monthly billing activity.
+ Adhere to internal policies and external regulations governing billing practices.
+ Serve as a point of contact for billing-related inquiries, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
+ Create new customer profiles and maintain demographic and contact information in billing systems.
